Nels W. Rasmussen, D.C. is a native Washingtonian. "Velkommen til Poulsbo," defines his roots on the fjord of the northwest. Dr. Nels is a third generation chiropractor who often introduces himself to those attending one of his health workshops by saying, "I've been a chiropractor since I was 10 years old, but it took me thirteen more years to earn my degree." He is a 1979 graduate of Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. He practiced for a short time with his parents in Poulsbo, for 10 years in Bellingham, two years in Sedro-Woolley/Mt. Vernon, and since 1992 in his beloved Darrington, Washington. Half of his practice time is devoted to people and the other half is devoted to the animals.
